LEFTY SIGHTINGS!

I’ve always had a fascination of left-handers, how their lives are slightly different than ours, a mirror-imaged parallel universe life. A life lefties live is one of trivial tribulations filled with pencil-scuffed palms, spiral-bound notebook pains, awkward scissor usage, misfit baseball mitts or golf clubs, and chastising moms insisting on switching hands at the dinner table lest they bump elbows with everyone else. Imagining a slightly different life lefties live doesn’t end there in the physical realm, but it includes the possible psychological realm too. Instead of the usual dominant right hand controlled by the corresponding left brain, which represents the logical analytical, verbal side of the brain; the dominant left hand is controlled by the corresponding right brain, the abstract visual side of the brain. That’s why, if you meet a lefty, they’re usually very artsy. If you ask them for directions, generally their visual nature cause them to answer with landmarks, rather than street names. Also, one of the funnest facts I know, twins usually have a right-hander and left-hander in the pair, because twins are split as an embryo and are literally mirrored duplicates of each other. So there you have it, why I’m fascinated by lefties and why I notice them everywhere now. Thus my collection below of lefty sightings! Famous noteworthy lefties include: Scarlett Johansson, both Jerry Seinfeld and George Costanza! Ed O’neil (Al Bundy or Jay Pritchett)…. and below.
