Too many choices = anxiety in making the right choice and the fear of regretting a choice
Decision fatigue. Hard to focus with too many options.
Action makes the anxiety go away.
Unfinished goals distract people when they’re trying to finish other things. Unclosed loops.
To do lists and plan-making removes the uncertainty of a certain task.
ironically, constraints help with happiness, because it reduces choices ie beliefs, goals, minimalism, wearing one outfit every day. Constraints also help with satisfaction ie hitting the smaller target of a bull’s eye.
